RHEL6.7 Slow graphics on Intel HD6000 when screen rotated

HI,

We are running RHEL 6.7 on Intel NUC systems with HD5500 or HD6000 integrated graphics. Everything is good until a screen is rotated, at which point performance in X becomes terrible. There is huge lag scrolling inside, or moving any application windows. Visible tearing etc.

I've come across various postings on the web about slow gfx on rotated intel screens, but they are mostly old (2010 or older) and against Ubutnu.

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue using the intel xorg driver, or has any hints of things to try?
