Upgrade McAfee?

Has anyone every upgraded McAfee on RHEL?

I'm in a situation where I need to upgrade. I've noticed a user called antivirus that launches a cron job that kicks off the scan. Other then disabling the cron job and uninstall and then installing the new anti-virus, is there anything else that I should consider for this process?
