Real time log analysis

Hello,
I have an environment of 4 JBOSS Fuse 6.0.2 / ActiveMQ 6.1 / Datagrid servers. I need to monitor the logs of the servers for:
a) Near real time error tracking (most important aspect). All messages are formatted the same way, so my focus is how easy it is to script the log parsing to for errors or abnormal behaviours (like the target system responding so slowly, that miss our SLAs).
b) statistics gathering and presentation. To capture, the number of messages per service, application, meeting SLAs.

I am looking for ease of use and good real time log analysis.

1) There is a Fuse Log Analyzer solution. Has anyone tried it?
2) Any other alternative you would recommend?
