Adding application launcher in desktop panel

Hello RHEL users,

I have recently installed Red Hat Linux workstation 7. Unfortunately, I am failed with adding an application luncher in the desktop panel. I have tried dragging the luncher to the panel, but failed with sticking it to the desktop panel. Could someone suggest me a way to add an application luncher to the panel?. The computer use the default desktop came with RHEL and I think its Genome.
