How do I finish the store example quickstart?

I am working with JBoss BRMS 6; specifically I am trying to setup this example project.

The first step listed under Run The Tests is "navigate to the root directory of this quickstart".

Where is this root directory? I've found the

.niogit

When you clone a repository in Business Central, does it do a bare clone? If so, how do I run the example? Is there a git command to switch from a bare clone to a 'full' clone?
