Does RHEL Server 6.6 support loading the root partition to RAM and running it?

I'm interested in setting up a few RHEL Servers to boot directly to RAM in order to provide the fast performance. I've seen this documented in for other distributions, but I'm unable to find any cases for Red Hat. Is this a supported deployment for RHEL?
