Are there sizing recommendations for CUPS server?

We are running CUPS on a RHEL 6.5 (24Gb mem) system with approximately 325 printers defined. CUPS is the main thing running there but we also have a some other 3rd party software running on it. The third party software is not a resource hog, but it definitely uses some resources. We expect the number of printers to continue to grow.

I would like to head off any issues before they occur. Does anyone know of a sizing utility or recommendation that has guidelines on how many printers is manageable and memory requirements per printer (or group of printers)? I've done quite a bit of searching but haven't found anything so far that directly addresses this issue.
