Why do I see 'Found duplicate PV' warnings when using LVM with multipath storage in RHEL?

Found duplicate PV
warning messages after system boots up-
LVM commands (such as
vgs
,lvchange

- I have scsi SAN Lun configured from storage, filesystem is configured over LVM which is created on top of multipath. Why do my physical volumes show as
sd
devices instead ofmpath
devices? ⤵ - Why am I getting duplicate UUID warnings when I have
multipath_component_detection = 1
set within/etc/lvm/lvm.conf
