RHEV: V2V - Converting a guest from RHEV to RHEL5.4 KVM Host
Issue
Below are the steps to clone or Migrate a RHEL Guest running on RHEV to the Non RHEV RHEL 5.4 KVM Hosts. In our scenario we tested
the RHEL5.4 32 Bit RHEV Guest running on ISCSI Type Data Centre was migrated to RHEL 5.4 KVM Host.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization v2.1
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5.4 32 Bit Guest Running RHN Satellite Version 5.3
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5.4 x86_64 KVM HOST (AMD)
