Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform release 4.17.20 is now available with updates to packages and images that fix several bugs and add enhancements.

This release includes a security update for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.17.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat's cloud computing Kubernetes application platform solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

Security Fix(es):

• buildah: Buildah allows arbitrary directory mount (CVE-2024-9675)
• kernel: HID: core: zero-initialize the report buffer (CVE-2024-50302)
• distribution: Distribution's token authentication allows attacker to

inject an untrusted signing key in a JWT (CVE-2025-24976)
