An updated rhel9/squid container image is now available in the Red Hat container registry.

Description

Squid is a high-performance proxy caching server for Web clients, supporting FTP, gopher, and HTTP data objects. Unlike traditional caching software, Squid handles all requests in a single, non-blocking, I/O-driven process. Squid keeps meta data and especially hot objects cached in RAM, caches DNS lookups, supports non-blocking DNS lookups, and implements negative caching of failed requests.

This updates the rhel9/squid image in the Red Hat container registry.

To pull a container image, run the following command:

podman pull registry.redhat.io/<image_name>

Solution

The container image provided by this update can be downloaded from the Red Hat container registry at registry.access.redhat.com using the "podman pull" command.
