An updated Podman container image is now available in the Red Hat
Container Registry.

Description

The podman (Pod Manager) is a fully featured container engine that is a simple
daemonless tool. podman provides a Docker-CLI comparable command line that
eases the transition from other container engines and allows the management of
pods, containers and images. Simply put: alias docker=podman.
Most podman commands can be run as a regular user, without requiring
additional privileges.

This updates the rhel8/podman image in the Red Hat Container Registry.

To pull this container image, run the following command as root:
podman pull registry.redhat.io/rhel8/podman

Solution

The container image provided by this update can be downloaded from the Red
Hat Container Registry at registry.redhat.io using the "podman pull"
command.
