This erratum covers the Technology Preview release of the JBoss Web Server 5.7 for OpenShift container image with OpenJDK 17 on UBI 8.

Description

The Technology Preview release of the JBoss Web Server 5.7 for OpenShift image with OpenJDK 17 is now available.

The JBoss Web Server 5.7 for OpenShift container image has been released for Middleware containers that run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 to provide a technical preview of OpenJDK 17 support.

Solution

You can download the RHEL-8-based Middleware Containers image that this updates provides from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com. Installation instructions for your platform are available at Red Hat Container Catalog (see References).

Dockerfiles and scripts should be amended to refer to this new image specifically or to the latest image generally.
