An update for convert2rhel is now available for unsupported conversions of
CentOS Linux and Oracle Linux 6 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The convert2rhel package provides the Convert2RHEL utility, which performs
operating system conversions. During the conversion process, Convert2RHEL
replaces all RPM packages from the original Linux distribution with their
RHEL version.

Enhancement:

• The convert2rhel package better detects a UEFI-based system and stops the

conversion to RHEL 6. The conversion of UEFI-based systems is possible only
to RHEL 7 and RHEL 8. (BZ#2010708)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
