An updated cdn-sync-mappings package that provides updated mapping information is now available for Red Hat Satellite 5.8.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management tool for Linux-based infrastructures. It allows for the provisioning, remote management, and monitoring of multiple Linux deployments with a single centralized tool.

The cdn-sync-mappings package maps the products and content available in a customer's Satellite manifest, to existing channel-families and channels in their Satellite 5.8 instance.

This update adds the following enhancement:

• The cdn-sync-mappings package has been updated with new repositories. In particular, Red Hat Openstack 13. (BZ#1612680)
• Ansible Engine 2.6 product has been added into cdn-sync-mappings and can now be synchronized into Red Hat Satellite 5. (BZ#1612681)
• Ceph Storage 3 has been added into cdn-sync-mappings and can now be synchronized into Red Hat Satellite 5. (BZ#1612737)

All Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which adds this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
