Updated openvswitch packages that add one enhancement are now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

This update adds the following enhancement:

• The openvswitch packages upstream version 2.9.0, which support the little-endian variant of the IBM POWER (ppc64le) architecture, have been added to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Using Data Plane Development Toolkit (DPDK) remains unsupported and disabled for the ppc64le architecture. (BZ#1593870)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add this enhancement.
