Updated ovirt-ansible-roles packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available.

Description

The ovirt-ansible-roles package contains Ansible roles, which automate common Red Hat Virtualization administration tasks.

Changes to the ovirt-ansible-roles component:

  • Added a new script is introduced to execute several operations, such as

validate, fail-over, fail-back, generate_vars (BZ#1532083)

  • The oVirt.cluster-upgrade Ansible role is now available as part of the ovirt-ansible-cluster-upgrade package, which is installed as a dependency of the ovirt-ansible-roles package. (BZ#1157372)
  • The oVirt.cluster-upgrade role can be used to automate upgrading all hosts in cluster. (BZ#1486207)
  • The oVirt.infra Ansible role can be used to automate data center setup. (BZ#1486237)
  • The oVirt.image-template Ansible role can be used to automate creating a virtual machine template from external image. (BZ#1486239)
  • The oVirt.manageiq Ansible role can be used to download a ManageIQ or Red Hat CloudForms QCOW2 image and create a virtual machine from it. You can also register a provider in the ManageIQ or Red Hat CloudForms installation. (BZ#1486243)
  • The oVirt.vm-infra Ansible role can be used to automate creating a virtual machine infrastructure. (BZ#1486249)

Solution

relevant to your system have been applied.
