New httpd24-mod_auth_mellon packages are now available as a part of Red Hat Software Collections 3.1 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Description

The mod_auth_mellon module for the Apache HTTP Server is an authentication service that implements the SAML 2.0 federation protocol. The module grants access based on the attributes received in assertions generated by an Identity Provider (IdP) server.

This enhancement update adds the httpd24-mod_auth_mellon packages to Red Hat Software Collections. (BZ#1433292, BZ#1514391)

All users who require httpd24-mod_auth_mellon are advised to install these new packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
