An updated Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 container image is now available.

Description

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 container image includes an up-to-date minimal runtime from Red Hat required to build, run, and deploy applications inside containers running on Red Hat infrastructure.

All package updates relevant to this base image can be found in the "Container" section of this advisory.

All users who require the Red Hat Enterprise Linux system container are advised to install this updated container image.

Solution

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux container image provided by this update can be
downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com
using the "atomic install" command. Dockerfiles and scripts should be amended
either to refer to this new image specifically, or to the latest image
generally.
