Updated rhel-system-roles packages that add two enhancements and fixes several bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The rhel-system-roles package provides a collection of interfaces serving as a stable API for the management of the RHEL operating system across major releases. It is implemented using Ansible.

This update adds two enhancements:

• The network role in the rhel-system-roles package has been updated to a newer upstream version, adding support for InfiniBand. (BZ#1470712)
• The prefix of all roles has been changed to be compatible with Ansible Galaxy. (BZ#1477220)

It also fixes several bugs:

• The network role - state:absent followed by state:up only worked part of time. (BZ#1478910)
• The SELinux role failed to set SElinux mode when disabled. (BZ#1479546)

Users of rhel-system-roles are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add these enhancements and fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
