A new python-passlib package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The python-passlib package provides a password hashing library for Python 2 and 3. The library provides cross-platform implementations of over 20 password hashing algorithms and a framework for managing existing password hashes. It has various use cases, such as verifying a hash in /etc/shadow or providing full-strength password hashing for a multi-user application.

This enhancement update adds the python-passlib package to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. (BZ#1448276)

Users of python-passlib are advised to install this package.

relevant to your system have been applied.
