Updated libreswan packages that add one enhancement are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 Extended Update Support.

Description

Libreswan is an implementation of IPsec & IKE for Linux. IPsec is the Internet Protocol Security and uses strong cryptography to provide both authentication and encryption services. These services allow you to build secure tunnels through untrusted networks such as virtual private network (VPN).

This update adds the following enhancement:

• This update ensures that the rollover to a new DNSSEC root key in October 2017 does not cause any DNS resolution problems. Libreswan no longer uses the built-in version of the DNSSEC root key for DNS lookups through the unbound library. (BZ#1461834)

Users of libreswan are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add this enhancement.
