An updated Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic openscap container image is now available.

Description

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic openscap container image contains the OpenSCAP-daemon, a service that performs SCAP scans of bare-metal machines, virtual machines and containers. Running the openscap container enables container vulnerability scanning with the "atomic scan" command.

This updated container image contains all package updates from the base image and these additional packages specific to this image:

RHBA-2016:2631 openscap 1.2.10-2.el7
RHBA-2016:2631 openscap-daemon 0.1.6-1.el7
RHBA-2016:2631 openscap-scanner 1.2.10-2.el7
RHBA-2016:2631 openscap-utils 1.2.10-2.el7

All users who require the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic openscap container are advised to update this container image.

Solution

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux container image provided by this update can be
downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com
using the "docker pull" command. Dockerfiles and scripts should be amended
either to refer to this new image specifically, or to the latest image
generally.
