Updated ovirt-node packages that fix a bug and add various enhancements are now available.

Description

The ovirt-node package provides the utilities and recipes used to create and configure the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor ISO image.

Note: Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor is only available for the Intel 64 and AMD64 architectures with virtualization extensions.

Changes to the ovirt-node component:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor now includes three new requirements for RPM installation: sanlock >= 2.8-3, sanlock-python, and shadow-utils. This enhancement helps related components of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor when adding system users during the

installation. (BZ#1351823)

Changes to the rhev-hypervisor component:

  • Previously, during subscription of a Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) via Red Hat Subscription Manager, the non-required Red Hat Enterprise Linux repository was included. Now, only the RHEV channel is added during subscription. (BZ#1348860)
