New atomic-openshift-utils and openshift-ansible packages are now available.

Description

OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat is the company's cloud computing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

The atomic-openshift-utils and openshift-ansible packages contain the installation utility and Ansible requirements for upgrading an OpenShift Enterprise 3 installation.

This enhancement adds support for upgrading from OpenShift Enterprise release 3.0 to release 3.1.

All OpenShift Enterprise 3 users are advised to upgrade to these new packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.

  • BZ - 1264765 - Upgrade failed if some imagesteam/template doesn't exist
  • BZ - 1264836 - The router image name should be ose-haproxy-router
  • BZ - 1278648 - upgrade should report error message rather than python exception
  • BZ - 1279308 - upgrade should get the storageDirectory from master-config.yaml
  • BZ - 1279733 - The upgrade should abort at the beginning if the deployment_type is enterprise
  • BZ - 1279734 - The service status is disabled after upgrade
  • BZ - 1279736 - The v1beta3 wasn't removed from master-config.yaml
  • BZ - 1280247 - Pre-upgrade checks couldn't report invalid port name
