Topic

Red Hat Storage Console 3.0 packages such as nagios-server-addons, nsca,
pnp4nagios, nagios, nagios-common, nagios-plugins, nagios-plugins-nrpe, rrdtool,
org.ovirt.engine-root, gluster-nagios-common that adds enhancements and fix
multiple bugs are now available for use with Red Hat Storage Server 3.0.

Description

Red Hat Storage Console is a powerful and simple web based Graphical User
Interface for managing a Red Hat Storage 3.0 environment. It helps Storage
Administrators to easily create and manage multiple storage pools. This
includes features like elastically expanding and shrinking a pool,
creating and managing volumes.

This advisory introduces Monitoring feature in Red Hat Storage Console
3.0 which is built on Nagios platform to monitor Red Hat Storage trusted
storage pool, hosts, volumes, and services. You can monitor the physical
and logical resource utilization and status (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network,
Swap, Cluster, Volume, Brick) using the Trends tab, which is an enhancement
added to Red Hat Storage Console.

This update also fixes several bugs. Space precludes documenting all of
these changes in this advisory. Users are directed to the Red Hat Storage 3
Technical Notes, linked to in the References section, for information
on the most significant of these changes.

Users of Red Hat Storage Console are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.
