New devtoolset-1.1-gcc packages are now available as part of the General
Availability release of Red Hat Developer Toolset 1.1.

Description

The GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) is a portable compiler suite with support for
various programming languages, including C, C++, and Fortran. The
devtoolset-1.1-gcc packages provide the Red Hat Developer Toolset version of
GCC, as well as related libraries.

This enhancement update adds the devtoolset-1.1-gcc packages to Red Hat
Developer Toolset 1.1 and upgrades GCC to upstream version 4.7.2, which provides
a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. In addition,
this update also adds support for the Fortran programming language. (BZ#831797,

All users of devtoolset-1.1-gcc are advised to install these new packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
