An updated spice-protocol package that adds several enhancements is now
available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The spice-protocol package contains header files that describe the SPICE
protocol and the QXL para-virtualized graphics card. The SPICE protocol is
needed to build newer versions of the spice-client and the spice-server
packages.

• The spice-protocol package has been upgraded to upstream version 0.10.1, which

provides a number of enhancements over the previous version, including support
for USB redirection. (BZ#758088)

All users who build spice packages are advised to upgrade to this updated
package, which adds these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
