Subscription Asset Manager is now available as part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Subscription.

Description

The Subscription Asset Manager component consists of the following packages:

• The katello packages are used for managing application life-cycle for Linux

systems.

• The katello-cli-headpin client package is used for managing a katello-headpin

installation.

• The katello-cli packages provide a command-line interface for managing

application life-cycle for Linux systems.

• The katello-certs-tools package contains tools to generate the SSL

certificates required by the Katello project.

• The katello-selinux package contains a SELinux policy module supporting

Katello.

• The katello-configure package provides the katello-configure script which

configures Katello installation.

• The katello-headpin package provides a subscription management only version of

katello.

• The elasticsearch package contains a distributed, highly available RESTful

search engine.

This enhancement update adds these packages to Subscription Asset Manager 1.

All users who require Subscription Asset Manager are advised to install these
new packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
