A new virt-what package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

The virt-what tool is used to detect whether the operating system is running
inside a virtual machine.

This enhancement update adds a new virt-what package to Red Hat Enterprise Linux
5. The virt-what utility enables programs to detect if they are running in a
virtual machine, as well as details about the type of hypervisor. (BZ#668618)

All users requiring virt-what should install these newly-released package, which
adds this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
