An updated libgcrypt package which adds additional OIDs to the list of
recognized algorithms is now available.

Description

The libgcrypt library provides general-purpose implementations of various
cryptographic algorithms.

These updated libgcrypt packages add the following enhancement:

• among other functions, libgcrypt provides functions for mapping from

object identifiers (OIDs) to signature algorithms. This update adds in
additional aliases for the SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512 digest algorithms used
in combination with RSA encryption.

Users of libgcrypt are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
add this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
