An updated wireless-tools package that adds Wi-fi Protected Access (WPA)
support is now available.

Description

The wireless-tools package contains tools used to manipulate the
Wireless Extension. The Wireless Extension is an interface allowing
you to set Wireless LAN specific parameters and get specific
statistics for wireless networking equipment.

This update adds Wi-fi Protected Access (WPA) capability for supported
wireless devices.

Users of wireless-tools who want to enable WPA support should upgrade to
this updated package, which adds this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
