An update for autofs is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 Update Services for SAP Solutions and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 Telecommunications Update Service.
Description
The autofs utility controls the operation of the automount daemon. The daemon automatically mounts file systems when in use and unmounts them when they are not busy.
Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):
- autofs on RHEL 8.6 causes LDAP storm due to retry loop on failed SSSD lookups for non-existent keys (JIRA:RHEL-136792)
