An update for virt-v2v is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.

Description

The virt-v2v package provides a tool for converting virtual machines to use the KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) hypervisor or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. The tool modifies both the virtual machine image and its associated libvirt metadata. Also, virt-v2v can configure a guest to use VirtIO drivers if possible.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• virt-v2v conversion pod crashes (Exit Code 137 / soft lockups) during SELinux relabeling of XFS filesystems with massive file counts. [rhel-10.2.z] (JIRA:RHEL-239809)
• virt-v2v firstboot.bat script does not exit at 'exit /b' command [rhel-10.2.z] (JIRA:RHEL-239810)
• virt-v2v SELinux relabel changes rootless Podman storage labels after VMware migration, breaking containerized AAP [rhel-10.2.z] (JIRA:RHEL-239852)
• Add --selinux-relabel-at-boot option [rhel-10.2.z] (JIRA:RHEL-240649)
