An update for virtio-win is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 Extended Update Support.

Description

Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) offers a full virtualization solution forLinux on numerous hardware platforms. The virt:rhel module contains packageswhich provide user-space components used to run virtual machines using KVM.The packages also provide APIs for managing and interacting with the virtualized systems.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" BSOD with no storage delay and only on virtio-blk [rhel-9.6.z] (JIRA:RHEL-145873)
• [virtio-win] IP address order is not preserved on driver update [rhel-9.6.z] (JIRA:RHEL-146118)
• [virtio-win][viosock] viosock driver can not be updated from the window update server [rhel-9.6.z] (JIRA:RHEL-146120)
• Add vstbridge and viosocklib-test files to virtio-win iso [rhel-9.6.z] (JIRA:RHEL-147683)
