An update for nfs-utils is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

Description

The nfs-utils packages provide a daemon for the kernel Network File System (NFS) server and related tools, which provides better performance than the traditional Linux NFS server used by most users. These packages also contain the mount.nfs, umount.nfs, and showmount programs.

Bug Fix(es):

  • rpc.gssd man page is missing documentation for use-gss-proxy (JIRA:RHEL-13085)
  • rpc.gssd is creating machine credcache with duplicate entries for the nfs service principal (JIRA:RHEL-62422)
  • nfs-utils: nfsiostat dies with KeyError if nfs filesystem is mounted between iterations [rhel-8.10.z] (JIRA:RHEL-90242)
  • man page nfs(5) clarify the new rdirplus=none|force functionality [rhel-8.10.z] (JIRA:RHEL-91253)
