An update is now available for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5

Description

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform provides an enterprise framework for building, deploying and managing IT automation at scale. IT Managers can provide top-down guidelines on how automation is applied to individual teams, while automation developers retain the freedom to write tasks that leverage existing knowledge without the overhead. Ansible Automation Platform makes it possible for users across an organization to share, vet, and manage automation content by means of a simple, powerful, and agentless language.

Updates and fixes included:

Automation Platform

• Fixed an issue where the initial login to any of the services from platform gateway could result in the user being given access to the wrong account (AAP-40617)
• Fixed an issue where the service owned resources were not kept in sync with the platform gateway allowing for duplicate name values on user login (AAP-40616)
• Fix an issue where users, organizations, and teams became permanently out of sync if any user, organization, or team was deleted from the platform gateway (AAP-40615)
• Fixed an issue where automation hub would fail to run the sync task if any users were deleted from the system (AAP-40613)
• Improved platform gateway's robustness with health checks and prevent exhaustion of resources (AAP-39907)
• automation-gateway has been updated to 2.5.20250225
• python3.11-django-ansible-base has been updated to 2.5.20250225

Automation Platform UI

• Fixed an issue where you were not able to create a members role (AAP-40698)
• Fixed an issue where the administrator of a specific inventory was not able to edit and launch the inventory source, even if they had overall administrator permissions (AAP-40455)
• Fixed an issue that restricted users from executing jobs for which they had the correct permissions (AAP-40398)
• Fixed an issue where the workflow job template node extra vars were not saved (AAP-40396)
• After launching the Workflow Job Template, the launched job for a Job Template node in the workflow should contain the job_tags and skip_tags that were specified in the launch prompt step (AAP-40395)
• Fixed an issue where the Building an automation execution environment guide had the incorrect ansible-core version (AAP-40390)
• Fixed a job output rendering issue which upon refresh only displayed all job logs when a new log was generated (AAP-38924)
• Added 'Copy Credential' option for Event-Driven Ansible (AAP-35875)
• Fixed an issue where custom logo was not being displayed properly in UI (AAP-26909)
