An update for java-1.8.0-openjdk is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.

Description

The RHEL 9.5 GA release was prepared with the most recent release of OpenJDK 8 at that time, which was OpenJDK 8u422, released on 16 July 2024. OpenJDK 8u432 was subsequently released on 15 October 2024, with existing RHEL 9 releases (9.0, 9.2, and 9.4) being updated at that time. This update now brings OpenJDK 8u432 to RHEL 9.5.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
