An update for sos is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.

Description

The sos package contains a set of utilities that gather information from system hardware, logs, and configuration files. The information can then be used for diagnostic purposes and debugging.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • [rebase] rebase sos to 4.7.2 in RHEL8.10 (JIRA:RHEL-49779)
  • sos report dracut module takes 100s when using rpm-ostree (JIRA:RHEL-33703)
  • Capture the output of 'tunegfs2' for GFS2 filesystems. (JIRA:RHEL-40871)
  • [rebase] rebase sos to 4.7.2 in RHEL9.4 (JIRA:RHEL-49781)
