An update for ovn-2021 is now available in Fast Datapath for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

Description

OVN, the Open Virtual Network, is a system to support virtual network abstraction. OVN complements the existing capabilities of OVS to add native support for virtual network abstractions, such as virtual L2 and L3 overlays and security groups.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• something wrong for distributed FIP when redirec-type is set as bridged (BZ#2007120)
• Lack of udp conntrack entries in ovn lb hairpin testing while no port specified (BZ#2161491)
• ovn-controller coredumped on all nodes (controllers+compute) and many FIP flows were affected (BZ#2163559)
• [ovn][bgp] VM takes several minutes to obtain its IPv6 address (slaac - provider network) (BZ#2170306)
• IPv6 LLA is stored to mac_bindings table on NA (BZ#2211240)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
