An update for openvswitch2.17 is now available in Fast Datapath for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 9.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• [RFE] Support for mirroring to tunnels in OVS / OVS-DPDK (BZ#2087663)
• [i40e]i40e_set_mac_max_frame(): Set max frame size at port level not applicable on link down (BZ#2138116)
• ovn database containers consume more memory when upgrading ovs version to 2.17-18 or higher (BZ#2182223)
• ovs-appctl dpctl/dump-flows hung (BZ#2202985)
• [23.E RHEL-9] Fast Datapath Release (BZ#2207736)
• ovs-vsctl autocomplete misbehaving (BZ#2211236)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
