An update for ansible-freeipa is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

Description

The ansible-freeipa package provides Ansible roles and playbooks to install and uninstall FreeIPA servers, replicas and clients also modules for management.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• Creating a POSIX trust agreement using 'range_type: ipa-ad-trust-posix' in ansible playbook is not honoring 'range_type' (BZ#2132967)
• [ansible-freeipa] Installers: configure sid generation in server/replica installer (BZ#2132970)
• [ansible-freeipa] ipaserver: Add missing idstart check (BZ#2132975)
• ansible-freeipa Replica Install Setup DNS fails (BZ#2132989)
• ipaconfig does not support SID and netbios attributes. (BZ#2132995)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
