An update for ovn is now available in Fast Datapath for Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 8.

Description

OVN, the Open Virtual Network, is a system to support virtual network abstraction. OVN complements the existing capabilities of OVS to add native support for virtual network abstractions, such as virtual L2 and L3 overlays and security groups.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• [Debugging] Add pinctrl statistics (BZ#1821965)
• Pass Raft election-timer value through ovn-ctl (BZ#1831778)
• [OVN] CPU will be very high after set "ovn-nbctl acl-add pg1 to-lport 3 ip reject" (BZ#1934011)
• [ovn] [ovn-trace] Does not show the load balancer backends getting hit (BZ#1980702)
• [OVN] Add configuration option to avoid gateway_mtu matches. (BZ#2011779)
• ovn-controller is not returning memory back to pool after pod deletion (BZ#2024768)
• OSP17 instance can't reach router's interface when it's spawned before network was plugged to the router (BZ#2025623)
• L2 communication (ARPs) don't works if port_security is disabled (BZ#2036970)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
