Updated Satellite 6.9 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

2007359 Entering a value in disk size field inserts GB with every keyboard input
2007358 Promotion content view failed with NoMethodError: undefined method `get_status' for nil:NilClass
1920511 3rd party repository sync fails with 'InvalidStringData: strings in documents must be valid UTF-8'
2001697 content prepare fails with Katello::Errors::Pulp3Error: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘url’
2004248 AVC denials on a new instance of 6.9.6 snap 2
2007357 SELinux alerts
2017489 Migration fails when migrating content with FIPS mode enabled
1952947 [pulp3] 2to3 migration progress reporting will be stuck at "Migrating content to Pulp 3" for a long time
1974325 Pulp2-Pulp3 migration failed with "Katello::Errors::Pulp3Error: could not extend file "base/906156/908228": No space left on device"
1976311 pulp3 migration abort should manually cancel all migration tasks
1993678 satellite-maintain content migration-stats shows migration time when everything is migrated

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
