Updated Satellite 6.9 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

1903367 Publishing a new Content View version brings in old metadata files from multiple previous versions; regenerating CV metadata then fixes it
1907514 Can not delete a host when the capsule it's registered to is down
1959151 pulp3: On_demand capsule sync (pulp3 to pulp2) for non-sha256 repos fails after content migration
1965471 pulp3 migration/switchover fails if multiple repos have the same label in the same content view
1976351 Promoting a content view or publishing/promoting a composite after initial migration causes errata to never be migrated
1980875 [RFE] Remove InsightsReporting status affecting global host status from relvancy if insights disabled.
1985318 Introduce a valid solution to fix the error "Katello::Errors::CandlepinError: Environment with id XXXX could not be found" in Satellite 6
1985324 Disconnected satellite's subscription page missing the checkbox/select column
1985327 [BUG] dependency conflict between satellite 6.8 and cockpit remote execution plugin
1985330 Upgrade to Satellite 6.9 fails at db:migrate stage with 'could not create unique index "index_lookup_values_on_lookup_key_id_and_match"' error
1986133 Invalid inventory report is created if "Include parameters in insights-client reports" setting is enabled.
1986134 Remediation popup window is not visible properly in reduced browser window.

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
