An update for rhel-system-roles is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The rhel-system-roles package includes a collection of Ansible roles and modules that provide a stable and consistent configuration interface for managing multiple versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • Update system roles for RHEL7 (BZ#1970165)
  • insufficient cleanup in network/tests_ethtool_f34tur3s_initscripts.yml (BZ#1842614)
  • tests: Missing tags (at least reboot) on various rhel-system-roles tests (BZ#1851512)
  • [RHEL7] storage: format entire disk with ext4 fs will be failed (BZ#1854189)
  • EL 8 version is not defined as supported in galaxy_info (BZ#1861662)
  • [network] tests_unit.yml & tests_wireless_nm.yml could fail with "ImportError: No module named mock" (BZ#1980439)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
