Updated Satellite 6.9 packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

1897213 [BUG] Insights planner cannot be deleted AND host is unable to be "Unregistered" from Satellite 6.8 web UI, action unresponsive when using associated buttons
1952960 [pulp3] Total counter for content migration is updated only after the migration of the whole content type is done
1954820 pulp3_migration_stats rake task can underestimate the migration timing
1964530 [pulp3] ValueError: No declared artifact with relative path ".treeinfo" for migrating CentOS 8 kickstart repos
1964593 [pulp3] on_demand distribution trees with no images are not migrated
1965234 Add API support for inventory controller
1967131 Pulp3 migration failed with " Katello::Errors::Pulp3Error: null value in column "downloaded" violates not-null constraint" error.
1972759 Stop scheduled inventory status updates if auto upload is not configured
1973178 [RFE] Insights - Visual representation of systems registerd / in sync with Insights
1973334 foreman-rake katello:correct_repositories is failing to create the repositories.
1973362 [Regression] foreman-installer has puppet-candlepin-11.0.0, should be 11.1.0
1973368 Pulp resource manager stops assigning tasks to the workers
1973369 Report Templates Host - Applied Errata report is empty.
1974578 Add "to remediations" button on host details page
1975093 Add link about security concerns to cloud connector setup button
1976228 Insights recommendations are not listed for old hosts after upgrading satellite to 6.9.3 snap 3.
1976229 Remove "Must specify either portal_user or organization_id" message from rh_cloud_inventory:report:generate rake command.
1983977 Unable to download latest insights-client Core Egg on clients after upgrading Satellite to 6.9.x
1983978 All Hosts page fails to show with error "comparison of NilClass with String failed"
1983980 "ERROR: Could not download dynamic configuration" while trying to register satellite host with insights.
1984548 Unregistering satellite host from insights doesn't change insights status for that host to "Not reporting" on Satellite UI.
1984551 [RFE] include the insights-id of each content host as part of the information to be send to c.rh.c
1984554 Need to add a deprecation warning on the pages under Insights menu on Sat6.9 which will be removed in Sat6.10

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
