An update for bash is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.1
Extended Update Support.

Description

The bash packages provide Bash (Bourne-again shell), which is the default
shell for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • bash loops forever trying to reap children, spins on the CPU (BZ#1944627)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
