Topic

Updated OpenShift Container Storage packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage 3.11 Update 7.

Description

The OpenShift Container Storage solution provides persistent storage service for OpenShift Containers and OpenShift Infrastructure services.

This advisory fixes the following bugs:

  • Previously, time taken by the gluster-block management operations like create, delete and resize increased linearly with scale. With this enhancement, the time taken by the gluster-block management operations has improved and is constant at any scale. (BZ#1797914)
  • Previously, the log locations for tcmu-runner for converged mode was /var/log/glusterfs/gluster-block/ and for the independent mode was /var/log/gluster-block/. With this update, the tcmu-runner log location for both converged and independent mode is /var/log/glusterfs/gluster-block/. (BZ#1896692)

All users of OpenShift Container Storage 3.11 container images are advised to pull these updated images from the Red Hat Container Registry.
