Updated kmod-redhat-ionic packages that fix one bug are now available Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.

Description

The kmod-redhat-ionic package contains the Pensando Ethernet NIC Driver kernel module, which adds official support for the following Pensando Ethernet NIC devices:

1dd8:1002 DSC Ethernet Controller
1dd8:1003 DSC Ethernet Controller VF

This update fixes the following bug:

• [HPE 8.3 FEAT] Add ionic driver for the Pensando's Naples DSC support (BZ#1915482)

The kernel modules delivered in this erratum have been made available as part of the Red Hat Driver Update Program. The program provides updated kernel modules that add support for selected devices in advance of the next Red Hat Enterprise Linux minor release. We strongly recommend that these kernel modules are only used when it is necessary to enable specific hardware that is mentioned in this erratum. Partners and customers should continue using the driver that is shipped in the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux kernel for all other devices that require this driver.
